Taylor Swift Recalls Telling Dad Scott 'But Daddy, I Love Him' in Resurfaced 2008 Interview

Taylor Swift described her 'epic teenage tantrum' in a resurfaced 2008 interview with 'PopSugar.'

"This song, I wrote it right after my one epic teenage tantrum that I ever threw in my whole life," she said at the time while sharing the inspiration behind "Love Story" from her second album, Fearless. In the more than five-and-a-half-minute long song, Swift sings, "Now I'm running with my dress unbuttoned / Screaming 'But Daddy I love him!' "In your life, you'll do things / Greater than dating the boy on the football team / I didn't know it at fifteen," she sang.
