Taylor Swift Praises 'Three American Stars' in New Olympics Video: 'Never Be Afraid to Show Them Who You Are'

Taylor Swift honored Simone Biles, Sha'Carri Richardson and Katie Ledecky as she narrated a new promotional video for the 2024 Paris Olympics, released by NBC Olympics on Aug. 3.

“Never be afraid to show them who you are, especially when the whole world is watching,” Swift says as clips of Biles, Richardson and Ledecky, 27, competing in their sports and interacting with fans are shown. “Katie, Sha’Carri and Simone,” Swift said as more shots of the three competitors winning medals was shown, as well as Biles holding up her sparkling goat necklace. During the show, Swift surprised the sold-out crowd by performing a mashup of The Tortured Poets Department track “The Black Dog” and folklore breakup song “exile” featuring Bon Iver for the fourth time on the Eras Tour.
