Taylor Swift on Vienna Cancellations, Terror Threat: Grateful to Be Grieving ‘Concerts and Not Lives’


Taylor Swift has commented on the Vienna, Austria concerts she'd planned that were canceled amid threats of terrorism.

After thanking her team for being able to “physically perform that show and build our massive stage, take it apart, and make magic with so few days in between for recovery and travel,” Swift addressed the Vienna cancellations, calling them “devastating.” “With confirmation from government officials of a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety,” a statement said. The guy who was arrested had the means of committing mass carnage,” Steve Adelman, an attorney who serves as vice president of the Event Safety Alliance, told Rolling Stone.
