Taylor Swift Buys Back Her Masters: Read Her Full Letter

Taylor Swift has bought back her masters. Read her letter to fans announcing the news.

Posting photos of herself posing with the covers of her first six albums on Instagram, Swift shared the news with fans by directing them to a letter published on her website. In the lengthy message, the 14-time Grammy winner got candid about how emotional of a process this has been for her — “I’ve been bursting into tears of joy at random intervals ever since I found out that this is really happening,” she wrote — before sharing details about the purchase as well as giving updates on the last two Taylor’s Version re-records, which fans have been expecting her to drop ever since she started redoing her first six albums in an effort to win back control over the music Borchetta sold in 2019: Reputation and 2006’s self-titled debut. “The passionate support you showed those albums and the success story you turned The Eras Tour into is why I was able to buy back my music,” she added in her letter.
