Taylor Swift started writing songs about love and breakups in the early 2000s, but her talent was soon recognized by music executives who knew she was the real deal. Swift’s full ownership “with no strings attached” also extends to her music videos, concert films, album photography and unreleased songs, in addition to “the memories, the magic [and] the madness.”
