Taylor Swift Announces 'Fortnight' With Post Malone Is First Single Off 'The Tortured Poets Department'

The singer made the announcement via her social channels Thursday afternoon.

Just hours ahead of TTPD's release on Friday, Swift took to her social media pages to announce that the first single off her highly anticipated 11th studio album is one that features a longtime friend and collaborator -- Post Malone. On the "Bad Blood" singer's previous albums, the lead single spot went to major songs that turned into certified gold including "Tim McGraw" from Taylor Swift, "Shake It Off" from 1989 and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" from Red. Just before kickoff, Malone hit the field with guitar in hand to deliver an impeccable rendition of "America the Beautiful," which has since been viewed more than 3 million times on the NFL's YouTube page.
