Taylor Swift ‘Likes’ Theory Connecting ‘TTPD’ and ‘Midnights’ Albums

Taylor Swift chimed in after a fan pointed out a connection between the first song on ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ and the last song on ‘Midnights’

“So Long, London,” heavily speculated to be about Swift’s breakup with Joe Alwyn, is the fifth track on her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, which dropped on Friday, April 19. Many fans speculated that much of Taylor Swift’s new album, The Tortured Poets Department, would be inspired by her split from Joe Alwyn — and they weren’t completely wrong. Both reference star-crossed lovers, with Swift singing, “That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles / And my daddy said, ‘Stay away from Juliet’ / And I was crying on the staircase / Begging you, “Please don’t go,’” in “Love Story.”
