Taylor Kitsch Says ‘I’ve Been Asked’ to Return for ‘Friday Night Lights’ Reboot: ‘I Would Do an Episode’ But Won’t ‘Lead’ It
Taylor Kitsch is ready to return for the "Friday Night Lights" reboot. Well, sort of.
While discussing the reboot of the hit NBC drama on Sirius XM’s “The Spotlight with Jessica Shaw” (via ET), series star Kitsch said he’s “been asked” to come back for it. The “Friday Night Lights” reboot, announced back in November, is currently in development at NBCUniversal and will premiere on Peacock. The official logline for the show reads, “Following a devastating hurricane, a rag tag high school football team and their damaged, interim coach make an unlikely bid for a Texas High School State Championship becoming a beacon of light for their town.”
