Taraji P. Henson to Host AmfAR Cannes Gala, Duran Duran to Perform (EXCLUSIVE)
Taraji P. Henson is set to host this year's amfAR Cannes Gala with Duran Duran set to perform.
“I am proud and excited to be supporting amfAR at this year’s Cannes benefit gala,” Henson said in a statement Wednesday. “AIDS is far from over and we must continue to stand together and support the lifesaving research that is our best hope of finally ending this deadly pandemic.” The show comes ahead of the band’s European summer tour, which includes dates in the U.K., Ireland, Finland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Germany and Spain, from June through early July.
