For every press tour and movie tie-in that seemingly makes no sense (we’re looking at you, Young Sheldon x Minecraft sweepstakes), there’s a golden nugget to be found that radiates pure joy. Kelly Clarkson, a woman who knows how to make you cry with either her songs or her heart, decided to surprise Tanner with meeting his hero, Jack Black, as a part of the promotion for A Minecraft Movie and the new season of Love on the Spectrum. Tanner tried covering his mouth to whisper to Black, “I’m gonna get your phone number so we can work out together,” but thankfully, the mics caught that delightful comment.
