Tamzin Outhwaite dropped 14lbs she gained through menopause after giving up drinking

Former EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite, who is competing on this year's Strictly Christmas special, revealed how she lost a stone in weight.

After completing the filming for Freeze The Fear, the EastEnders star realised she couldn’t drink wine while menopausal without feeling drunk. Tamzin cut out alcohol for six months (Credit: Splashnews.com) She told Closer in 2023: “I thought, ‘Maybe it’s my hormones or HRT’, but it hit me that I just couldn’t drink like I used to. Tamzin insisted that she’s “not one to diet,” however when she stopped drinking alcohol, she lost the stone she gained and instead “craved goodness”.
