Tame Impala Brings Psychedelic Visions to Life in New Fashion Collaboration With A.P.C
Tame Impala (Kevin Parker) has launched a fashion collection with the Parisian fashion brand A.P.C. Here's how to shop the collection online.
The capsule collection, which officially drops July 18, is inspired by “psychedelic minimalism,” bringing bold patterns and vibrant color to the brand’s simple designs. According to a press release, Parker’s references for the capsule included the post-hippie communes and intentional-living communities of ’70s Australia, giving way to the lineup’s loose, flowing silhouettes and earthy, pastel tones. Aside from Parker’s personal style, the unique brand of psychedelia that the artist brings to the stage as Tame Impala can be seen in some of the collection’s headlining pieces such as multicolored alpaca sweaters and striped cotton corduroy trousers, paired with accessories like logo-branded bucket hats, shades and a shoulder bag.
