Tamayo Perry Dies In Shark Attack: ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ Actor Was 49
'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor Tamayo Perry has died after a shark attack while surfing in Hawaii.
Perry, who was also a lifeguard and professional surfer, had been fatally attacked on Sunday afternoon, Honolulu’s emergency services confirmed in a press conference. The 49-year-old actor was known for playing a buccaneer in 2011’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the fourth film in the Johnny Depp action franchise. Mayor Rick Blangiardi added Perry’s death was a “tragic loss,” and called him “a legendary waterman and highly respected.
