Talaria Media to Develop Military Veteran Comedy Series Loosely Based on Mark Greene’s ‘Unsealed’ From Writer Jamie Anderson (EXCLUSIVE)

Talaria Media is developing a new comedy series about a retired Navy SEAL, Variety has learned exclusively.

The official logline for the series states it is “about a retired Navy SEAL struggling to adjust to civilian life after he’s forced to work at a new age spiritual center with his estranged daughter.” In his transition to civilian life, Greene identified six predictable phases in transformation, which served as the basis for his book “Unsealed,” which he wrote with Shelby Rawson. Talaria Media’s recent projects include “Prisoner’s Daughter” from Catherine Hardwicke and starring Brian Cox and Kate Beckinsale, “The Great Debate with Charles Barkley,” and “Saving the Roar” from writer-director Michael Nash.
