T'Pau legend Carol Decker unrecognisable in glam snap after undergoing colon cancer surgery


Carol Decker, who found fame as the lead singer of eighties band, T'Pau, is looking well on the road to recovery as she shared a glam snap months on from surgery for colon cancer

The 66 year old songstress posted a glam snap to Instagram around Christmas time, as she showed off her trademark red hair and gazed into the camera, whilst smiling a half-smile. Carol is best-known as the lead vocalist in eighties pop band, T'Pau (Image: YouTube/TPauVEVO)The China In Your Hand singer endured a three-hour long operation on her colon earlier that week after finding "something nasty growing up there". In September 2023, Carol revealed she had undergone surgery for colon cancer and was 'recovering well' (Image: X/Carol Decker)She shared a selfie from her hospital bed in Oxford and wrote: "Day 2 Recovering well from my colon surgery just knackered from the GA it was a long op - 3hrs 40 mins huge shout out to the wonderful colorectal team at The Churchill hospital Oxford headed up by Prof Chris Cunningham I have had the best care thank you @NHS."
