T-Pain Publishing Catalog & Select Masters to Be Acquired by HarbourView Equity Partners
T-Pain's music publishing catalog and select masters are selling to HarbourView. The singer is behind hits like “Buy U a Drank” and “Bartender."
HarbourView Equity Partners is buying Grammy award-winning rapper-producer T-Pain ‘s publishing catalog and certain master recording rights, the company announced on Thursday (Feb. 20). Founder/CEO Sherrese Clarke Soares says her alternative asset management firm deployed around $800 million in deals last year, which helped the Newark, N.J.-based company’s portfolio grow to around 80 catalogs and 30,000 songs. In addition to the T-Pain catalog, HarbourView’s music assets include songs by James Fauntleroy, George Benson, Noel Zancanella, Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie, Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo, Nelly, Jeremih, Wiz Khalifa, Kane Brown and Full Force.
