T-Pain Honored with the Key to the City in Tallahassee

The Grammy Award winner was also recognized with a street renamed in his honor.

In a post on X, Mayor Dailey shared, “Today, I had the incredible honor of presenting @TPain with the Key to the City in recognition of his contributions to music and his ongoing commitment to this community.” During the ceremony held at the Walker Ford Community Center, city officials unveiled the new "T-Pain Lane" street sign, which replaced Pasco Street—a location just a block away from Florida A&M University. Following the unveiling, T-Pain capped off the celebration with a live performance at The Adderley Amphitheater, part of Leon County’s bicentennial festivities at Cascades Park.
