SZA took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday (March 26) to share the snippet from the podcast, writing over the clip, “Actually didn’t believe this quote when I saw it written til I saw it come out her mouth [just] now ’cause DEAD A– SAME.” She even named Roan in the same interview among her favorite singer-songwriters who use their music as avenues for storytelling, additionally including Gracie Abrams, Lola Young, Doechii and Olivia Rodrigo.
