The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter — and noted cinephile — made the announcement while appearing on Jennifer Hudson's eponymous talk show to chat about her upcoming tour with her fellow Super Bowl halftime performer Kendrick Lamar and her new buddy comedy, One of Them Days. Halle Berry and Alexandra Shipp are among the stars who have played versions of the heroine (real name: Ororo Munroe) in the past. SZA told EW that she was leaving the door open for more movie roles in a joint interview with her costar Keke Palmer for One of Them Days earlier this year.
