SZA Announces Split From Manager Punch: 'End of An Era'
The Top Dawg Entertainment president will reportedly no longer manage SZA.
On Wednesday (December 25), the “LANA” singer-songwriter announced on Instagram that Punch would no longer be her manager, a little over a decade after the music industry veteran signed her to TDE. The news came as fans speculated that the two parted ways after the chaotic rollout of “LANA,” the deluxe version of SZA’s 2022 album “SOS,” which arrived late on December 20. Earlier that day, SZA asked fans to “keep it cute” amid the controversy.” While the “Snooze” artist didn’t confirm if she’d no longer be on the TDE roster, her split with Punch comes less than a week after “LANA” was delayed to an afternoon release on a Saturday.
