SZA Announces ‘Lana’ Album With Nature-Themed Promo Clip
The project will be the deluxe edition of the singer-songwriter’s 2022 LP ‘SOS.’
The album, which has a title with an abbreviation of the singer-songwriter’s first name, Solana, was announced on Monday, December 9, with a scenic promotional video. The clip is soundtracked by an unreleased song–which samples the 1977 Isley Brothers classic “Voyage to Atlantis”–sung by the 4-time Grammy winner and shows SZA squatting in a wooded location to urinate. Although a release date has yet to be confirmed, “Lana” has been long awaited and was previously teased in 2023 when SZA posted what appeared to be potential album covers.
