Sydney Sweeney slams 'fake' Hollywood grandstanding on 'women empowering other women'


She was scathing in a new interview about the 'successful' women in showbiz who 'bash and discredit' the 'younger' female 'talent' coming up behind them.

The 27-year-old became a star on the TV shows Euphoria and The White Lotus and is now a reigning nationwide sex symbol; pictured in a viral look at the GLAAD Media Awards in March (from left) Glen Powell, Zendaya, Nicole Kidman, Zoe Saldana, Dev Patel, Sydney, Josh O'Connor, Danielle Deadwyler, Jonathan Bailey, Lisa, Ncuti Gatwa and Bill Skarsgard have all covered the Vanity Fairy Hollywood Issue Jane previously shared that her attitude to her own Barbarella movie has evolved over the years, telling PeopleTV: 'You know, when it first came out, I was just becoming an activist and a feminist and I thought it wasn't politically correct - and now I appreciate it because it's not.'
