Sydney Sweeney Shares First Look Photos As Boxer Christy Martin For Sports Biopic: “I’m Honored To Step Into Her Shoes”
Sydney Sweeney shared the first photos of her playing boxer Christy Martin for the upcoming biopic being directed by David Michôd.

The film, directed by Michôd from a screenplay he co-wrote with Mirrah Foulkes, follows the true story of Christy Martin, who rose to fame as America’s most successful female boxer in the 1990s. Earlier this year, Sweeney teased her upcoming role, telling Deadline, “Christy Martin not only legitimized female boxing, she overcame gender stereotypes and fought through emotional, physical, and financial abuse.
