Sydney Sweeney Says She Finds It 'Powerful' to Act While Nude: 'I Don't Get Nervous'

In an interview with 'W Magazine,' Sydney Sweeney opened up about her experience filming nude scenes. 'I think that the female body is a very powerful thing,' she said, adding that her 'Euphoria' character gave her 'so much confidence and self-awareness.'

"I don't get nervous," she told the outlet for its Special Summer Issue, adding that she's "gained so much confidence and self-awareness" during her time portraying Cassie in Euphoria. For Cassie, whose most recent arc largely involved a secret love affair with her best friend's on-again, off-again boyfriend, Sweeney saw her occasional on-screen nudity as an important dimension to her character. In an interview with The Independent in January 2022, around the launch of Euphoria' s second season, the actress shared that she asked the show's producers to alter some scenes to exclude nudity that didn't contribute to the plot.
