Sydney Sweeney Responds to Hollywood Producer Who Said She Can’t Act: ‘How Sad’

Sydney Sweeney has issued a statement in response to Hollywood producer Carol Baum saying she can't act and disparaging her appearance.

“As a producer of Immaculate, I’ll enlighten Ms. Baum that two-time Emmy nominee Sydney Sweeney is not only one of the most talented actresses I’ve worked with, but also incredibly smart, kind and humble,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter. Maslin tried to clarify the discussion, writing on X that Anyone But You “is unwatchable.” She added, “We brought up Anyone But You because it’s been the rare smash hit rom-com at a time when they aren’t working. When they later find themselves attending the same destination wedding in Australia, they decide to fake a relationship with one another in order to get their well-intentioned loved ones off their backs.
