SXSW Audience Award Winner ‘Geoff McFetridge: Drawing A Life’ & NYFF Title ‘The Practice’ Land North American Distribution Via Gravitas Ventures
New York-based sales company Visit Films sold both titles to Gravitas Ventures.
It was produced by Joaquim Sapinho, Victoria Marotta, Christoph Friedel, Florencia Larrea, Marta Alves, Jerónimo Quevedo, Giancarlo Nasi, Claudia Steffen, Fernando Bascuñán and Martín Rejtman. It stars Geoff McFetridge and features interviews of Spike Jonze, Sofia Coppola, Sarah DeVincentis, Andrew Paynter, and Bill Powers. The company added that it is “excited” to expand its “reach into distributing strong foreign language titles from the film festival circuit” with the release of The Practice.
