Swizz Beatz and Timbaland Strike Verzuz Distribution Deal With Elon Musk’s X
Verzuz, the online platform launched during the pandemic by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, has struck a distribution partnership with Elon Musk’s X.
Under the terms of the new deal, the pair maintain their full ownership and creative control of the platform while X receives exclusive distribution rights. Beginning with Swizz and Timbaland, the platform quickly gained popularity by matching up Babyface vs. Teddy Riley, Nelly vs. Ludacris, Boi-1da vs. Hit-Boy, T-Pain vs. Lil Jon, RZA vs. DJ Premiere, Erykah Badu vs. Jill Scott, Alicia Keys vs. John Legend, DMX vs. Snoop Dogg, and even Patti Labelle vs. Gladys Knight and Brand vs. Monica.
