Swap Shop star Maggie Philbin unrecognisable 46 years since finding fame on kids' TV
Former BBC Tomorrow's World presenter Maggie Philbin first shot to fame when she starred on the science show, before presenting alongside Noel Edmonds on Multi-Coloured Swap Shop
She got the job, teaming up with late Keith Chegwin, John Craven, and Noel Edmonds, cementing her status as a children's telly icon. Her 36 year old daughter Rose, who resides in San Francisco and works in the tech industry, was able to spend six weeks with her father before his passing. Maggie never abandoned her passion for technology, launching her own company Teen Tech in 2008, organising events and competitions for children, and presenting the BBC's science programme Bang Goes The Theory.
