Suzanne Somers’ Widower Alan Hamel Recalls ‘Passionate Love’ They Had for Each Other
Suzanne Somers’ widower, Alan Hamel, recalled the ‘passionate love’ that they shared one year after the actress died following her battle with breast cancer.
“We went to sleep every night holding hands, and in the morning I would always awaken a few minutes before her and I would just lie there, staring at her beautiful face.” The pair first met in 1969 on the set of TV’s The Anniversary Game, where Suzanne worked as a prize model and Alan hosted. “I look over on the other side of the stage, and I see the most incredible woman I’ve ever seen in my life,” Alan recalls.
