Sutton Foster Makes Big Career Announcement Amid Romance With Hugh Jackman


Broadway star Sutton Foster shared a big career announcement amid her budding romance with Hugh Jackman, and her upcoming project is a stage musical.

A live production of the bestselling autobiography-turned-hit film Coal Miner’s Daughter is officially underway, and Sutton has been cast as the lead for the project chronicling Loretta’s journey from her humble beginnings in Kentucky to becoming a bonafide music superstar. Terry Wyatt/Getty Images for Americana MusicAlthough Loretta died in October 2022 at the age of 90, her family said the “I’m a Honky Tonk Girl” hitmaker had already approved of Sutton securing the coveted role. Sutton, who filed for divorce from her ex Ted Griffin in October 2024, was seen supporting the Deadpool & Wolverine actor at the opening of his Broadway show From New York, With Love, just last month.
