Susanna Fogel’s ‘Winner’ Starring Emilia Jones, Connie Britton & Zach Galifianakis Acquired By Vertical
'Winner,' the Reality Winner dramedy starring Emilia Jones which premiered this year at Sundance, has been acquired by Vertical for North America.
Also starring Connie Britton( Nashville), Zach Galifianakis(A Wrinkle in Time), Kathryn Newton ( Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania) and Danny Ramirez ( Top Gun: Maverick), the film is slated to hit theaters later this year. A sarcastic, gun-lovin’, vegan, yogi, and CrossFit fanatic, Reality is an unconventional hero who ends up being prosecuted for telling the truth, after she’s arrested on suspicion of leaking a classified intelligence report about Russian interference in the 2016 election. Exec producers are Dani Melia, Peter Saraf, Daniel Bekerman, Myron John Tataryn, Terry Dougas, Connor Flanagan, Ben Yano, Michael B. Clark, and Alex Turtletaub.
