Jeff Probst likes to tell players that “you have to dig deep” to make it on Survivor, and for the 48th time, a group of castaways is hitting the beach to do just that. The reality series, which awards one sole Survivor the $1 million each season after lasting 39 days outside, has come a long way over the years. He sensed that he wasn’t completely safe during that day’s immunity challenge and lost another intense one-on-one battle of endurance with Joe Hunter.
