Surf Company Claims Lady Gaga Ripped Off ‘Mayhem’ Logo in $100 Million Lawsuit

Surf company Lost International accused Lady Gaga of trademark infringement over one of the designs she used for her new album, 'Mayhem.'

Lost International, a prominent surf and lifestyle brand, has filed a $100 million trademark infringement suit against Lady Gaga, alleging some of her Mayhem designs and merchandise rip off one of their logos. Lady Gaga released Mayhem earlier this month, marking her seventh solo album following 2020’s Chromatica, as well as her 2024 Joker: Folie à Deux companion record, Harlequin. Gaga is set to embark on a North American tour in support of the album this summer, with the run launching July 16 in Las Vegas and wrapping Sept. 17 in Chicago.
