The Super Bowl parade shooting in Philadelphia remains under investigation as two women who were shot in the leg are identified
The Philadelphia Police Department said the shooting occurred at about 2:35 p.m. and the women were shot “outside the parade footprint” – a short distance from where a podium had been set up for speeches, per USA Today. The incident occurred as the Eagles and their fans gathered to celebrate the team’s Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, which took place in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9.
