Sunrise star David 'Kochie' Koch's shock career move after retiring from breakfast TV
He retired as host of Sunrise eight months ago after 21 years to spend more time with family and pursue other interests.
They added that Kochie's appearance on the reality show is expected to be a huge drawcard for the network, with fans eager to tune in to see his dance moves. 'This will no doubt turn into a fierce bidding war among the country's top publishers – chequebooks will be open for whatever advance he asks for,' an insider said back in June. He revealed he had teamed up with Australian sugar-free drink brand Nexba and its parent company Goodness Group Global as a shareholder and advisor.
