Sundance Names Jurors For 2025 Festival
Sundance's set of jurors for the 2025 festival was announced on Tuesday morning.
Jurors there included filmmakers Michael Almereyda ( Marjorie Prime), Nicholas Ma ( Mabel), and Sam and Andy Zuchero ( Love Me), as well as artist, astrophysicist, and UC Santa Cruz astronomy professor Nia Imara, and Dr. Monica Lopez, an entrepreneur named to 2023’s list of 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics. “The jury plays a pivotal role in helping us recognize and amplify a new generation of storytellers, which is a crucial part of our work in independent cinema.” Yesterday, festival organizers also announced the Beyond Film lineup of talks, which will feature the likes of Daniel Kaluuya, Marlee Matlin, Celine Song, and Steven Yeun.
