Sundance breakout star Maisy Stella will joined Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor in a mysterious project from Bad Robot and Warner Bros.
Maisy Stella, who delivered a star-making turn in this year’s Sundance hit “My Old Ass,” has booked the third lead in a mysterious new project from Bad Robot and Warner Bros. Pictures. Stella joins Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor in the untitled feature from director David Robert Mitchell (“It Follows,” “Under the Silver Lake”). In his review for Variety, chief critic Peter DeBruge called “My Old Ass” a “future classic,” one that is “honest about adolescent desire, self-questioning sexual identity issues and all kinds of other behavior that sends worried moms and dads into meltdown mode.”
