Sum 41 star claims former manager groomed him for sexual relationship
Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley has claimed he was 'groomed' by his former manager Greig Nori, who he says 'pressured' him into a sexual relationship when he was 18
Despite sharing a "special connection" on a creative level, Deryck alleges he suffered sexual and verbal abuse from the Treble Charger singer over the years. In his new memoir Walking Disaster: My Life Through Heaven and Hell, as reported by the Los Angeles Times, Deryck recounts how he first met Nori at a Treble Charger gig. Despite the cessation of their alleged physical relationship, Deryck claimed that verbal abuse continued as Nori became envious of Sum 41's success and sought to create discord among the band members.
