Sugababes' Keisha Buchanan on band name fight - 'We stood our ground, I’m proud of us'

EXCLUSIVE: The original Sugababes, Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhán Donaghy, have had a whirlwind journey since their comeback and had to fight back for the band's name

But the return of Mutya, 39, Keisha, 40, and Siobhán, 40, hasn't come without its challenges, as they were left fighting for their right to take back the ownership of the Sugababes group name after the line-up changed three times in their absence. Their debut single, Overload, hit the charts, but Siobhán left the group in 2001 and was replaced by former Atomic Kitten singer Heidi Range. The trio faced a tough journey to release music and remained somewhat under the radar, but finally, in 2022, they reclaimed their Sugababes name and made a triumphant return to the stage.
