Succession's Matthew Macfadyen pays tribute to wife and 'best friend' Keeley Hawes (and gives a shout out to his on-screen 'wives' Sarah Snook and Nicholas Braun) as he wins Best Supporting Actor at the Emmy Awards
The Succession star picked up his third Emmy in a row for his portrayal of Tom Wambscans in Succession and was quick to praise his co-stars as well as his wife.
Nicholas was also nominated in the hotly-contested category, as were two other actors from the show, Alan Ruck and Alexander Skarsgard, and four stars from The White Lotus, F. Murray Abraham, Michael Imperioli, Theo James and Will Sharpe. Ali triumphed over the likes of: Lizzy Caplan – Fleishman Is in Trouble, Jessica Chastain – George & Tammy, Dominique Fishback – Swarm, Kathryn Hahn – Tiny Beautiful Things, and Riley Keough, Daisy Jones and the Six.
