Succession star Sarah Snook says she felt 'ugly and depressed' and was down to her last $10 before work started coming in and she shot to stardom as Shiv Roy


Sarah Snook has proved to be the toast of awards season bagging Best Actress in a TV Drama Series at both the Golden Globes and the Emmy Awards.

Sarah attended Sydney's prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art and recalled how people would make fun of her falling asleep in lectures because she had no energy from not being able to afford to eat nutrious meals. Sarah played Apple entrepreneur Andrea Cunningham in the Hollywood biopic and made her West End debut alongside Ralph Fiennes. Sarah, 36, has received critical acclaim for the her character in Succession, which sees the Roy children battle for control of their father's business, Waystar Royco
