Succession costumes and props sell at auction for over £200,000 - including Greg's iconic dog mascot and outfits worn by Kendall, Roman and Shiv Roy
Costumes and props from the hit TV drama Succession have sold at auction for over £200,000. They included designer suits and outfits worn by the siblings - Kendall, Roman and Shiv Roy.
Greg Hirsch's iconic Doderick the dog furry costume and customised backpack, which he wore in the very first episode of the Emmy-award winning drama, fetched £6,100. Of the high-priced props, the prepared Waystar Royco statement meant to publicly absolve the company of any wrong-doing in a scandal only to be ripped up by Kendall Roy who instead called his father a 'malignant presence, a bully, and a liar', sold for almost £15,000. A spokesperson for Heritage said: 'This auction was akin to stepping into the Roys' endless closets full of fashion that merely whisper wealth; it's brand-name bingo, four seasons' worth of coveted, craveable clothing available in a single sitting.
