The Sublime biopic has cast 'Riverdale' star KJ Apa as Bradley Nowell and hired Justin Chon as director.
The Sublime biopic has found its Bradley Nowell, as “Riverdale” star KJ Apa takes on the role of the Long Beach band’s frontman, Variety has confirmed. Best known for his breakout role in “Riverdale,” Apa is also seen in the Amazon motorcycle drama “One Fast Move” and the upcoming rom-com “Falling.” His other film credits include “Songbird,” “The Last Summer” and “The Hate U Give.” Apa is repped by UTA, Luber Roklin Entertainment, Mandy Jacobsen, Red 11 Management and Jackoway Austen Tyerman Wertheimer Mandelbaum Morris Bernstein Trattner Auerbach Hynick Jaime LeVine Sample & Klein.
