Strictly's Wynne Evans kicks off new radio show and 'takes swipe' at BBC after axe

Wynne Evans has returned to the airwaves after he was dropped by the BBC and taken off the Strictly live tour after making 'inappropriate comments'

The Go Compare opera singer, aged 53, is back on the air after being let go from his BBC Wales breakfast radio show amid allegations of making inappropriate remarks. After a period away from the limelight for personal reflection and to concentrate on his mental health, Wynne has now stepped back into the public arena, commenting on how the situations were managed, reports Edinburgh Live. The vocalist, who danced with Katya Jones on last year's Strictly, won by Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell, has candidly discussed the effect the controversy had on him, leading him "to the darkest spot of his life".
