Strictly's Shirley Ballas in shock 'quit' outburst following 'favouritism' backlash

Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas has hit back after she faced a barrage of criticism from BBC viewers over her decision to save Wynne Evans in the dance off

The dance-off on Sunday night (10 November) saw Shayne, 40, and his dance partner Nancy Xu, 33, go head-to-head with Wynne, 52, and Katya Jones, 35. The judges were divided in their verdict, with Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse backing Shayne and Nancy, while Anton Du Beke supported Wynne and Katya. On her decision, she said: "One of you displayed more of a powerful and joyous routine for me - so it was quite difficult for me to choose but on this occasion I'm going to save Wynne and Katya," reports the Express.
