Strictly's Neil Jones reveals why not having a celebrity dance partner was a secret blessing as he opens up on fatherhood
EXCLUSIVE: The Latin dancer, 41, revealed in an exclusive interview with MailOnline that not being at the forefront of the show meant that he watched his child be born.
The twinkle-toed star also responded to his lack of dancing partners as he has only had two celebrity pairings in eight years - sports pundit Alex Scott, 38, in 2019 and 2021 contestant, actress Nina Wadia, 54. During the 2023 competition, Neil took a swipe at his Strictly co-stars by claiming he and snubbed Nadiya Bychkova don't need celebrity partners because they're world champions – unlike the majority of the pro dancers. Neil, whose accolades include winning the British National Dance Championships eight times and becoming the World Latin Champion on four occasions, says the Strictly partnerships are based on height and whether the couple look good.
