Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has marked a major milestone as she reflected on her breast cancer battle and recalled her first chemo treatment a year on

Taking to Instagram on Saturday 3 August, Amy reshared her post from exactly a year ago when she underwent her first chemotherapy after being diagnosed with grade three breast cancer. I didn’t sleep, I got there and I just burst into tears, luckily my pink sister made sure I walked in and helped me through it and distracted from the brain freeze of the cold cap. After a tough battle with cancer, with regular updates for her fans along the way, Amy joyfully 'rang the bell' in November 2023 to mark the end of her chemo journey.
