Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Amy Dowden, who was partnered with JLS star JB Gill, has been forced to quit the show, one week after collapsing backstage
Whilst Amy focuses on her recovery following a foot injury, fellow Professional Dancer, Lauren Oakley, will step in as JB’s dance partner. On Sunday night's pre-recorded Results Show, JB was left to take the stage solo, yet he and Dowden managed to dodge landing in the bottom two after their foxtrot to Dancing In The Moonlight by Toploader. Amy shared her cancer journey after witnessing the positive impact of her documentary on Crohn's disease, which helped her "accept" her condition for the "first time ever".
