Strictly's Amanda Abbington drops BBC complaint after demanding CCTV footage of rehearsals with partner Giovanni Pernice


Strictly contestant Amanda Abbington has dropped her complaint to the BBC after she said the show left her suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

The Mail can reveal that the actress, who demanded CCTV footage of rehearsals with her professional partner Giovanni Pernice following her departure from the programme, has not contacted the Corporation on the matter further. Amanda, who starred on BBC drama Sherlock, was also seeking legal advice over Giovanni's alleged behaviour towards her, believing video footage could ‘back up’ her claims.
