Strictly's Amanda Abbington 'death threat' being investigated by police


The police are investigating an alleged death threat sent to Strictly Come Dancing's Amanda Abbington, who complained about her professional partner on the show Giovanni Pernice

The Sun revealed that the star received an email threatening she would "die on stage" unless she withdrew her complaint about dancer Giovanni Pernice, her former partner on Strictly Come Dancing 2023. After leaving the BBC One show, Abbington lodged a formal complaint about Pernice's teaching methods, citing "medical" and "personal" reasons at the time.
